COOPERA Working meeting in Moldova

On April 4, 2022, at the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, was held a working meeting within the ERASMUS+ project “Integrating Dual Higher Education in Moldova and Ukraine – COOPERA” (Reference number: 617490-EPP-1-2020 -1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP).

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and universities, partners in the COOPERA project: Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), Technical University of Moldova (UTM), Free International University of Moldova (ULIM). The meeting was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Nadejda VELISCO.

University representatives presented the dual higher education models of the study programs, which are expected to be piloted, starting with September 1st, 2022. Obtaining the authorization from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova will serve as a starting point for organizing the promotional campaign and elaboration of study materials for the DHE Study Programs.

The discussions highlighted the importance of implementing dual education at the higher level of training, representing an alternative form of education, which places a significant emphasis on training the practical skills of young specialists in the real work environment, with a high involvement of business environment representatives in the educational process.
