7th CONSORTIUM MEETING

The consortium of the ERASMUS+ project “INTEGRATING DUAL HIGHER EDUCATION IN MOLDOVA AND UKRAINE – COOPERA”, (reference number: 617490-EPP-1-2020-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP) has met for the 6th Consortium meeting, organized by the project Grant coordinator, the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The meeting has been realized online via ZOOM platform on September 20th, 2023.

The event was attended by representatives of the working teams from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), the International Free University of Moldova (ULIM), the National University of Uzhhorod (UzhNU), the KROK University (KROK) Kyiv, National University “V.N. Karazin” in Kharkiv (KKNU), Odessa National University of Economics (ONEU), Baden-Wurttemberg State Cooperative University (DHBW) in Germany, Varna University of Management (VUM) from Bulgaria.

The main objective of the event was to analyze the performances achieved during the first two years of the realization of the COOPERA project and outline the tasks and remaining activities until the end of the project.

During the meeting, the project coordinator – Dr. Olesea SIRBU has informed the consortium about the official conformation received from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency about the project extension of 7 month with the end date of 18th August 2024. Partners discussed results achieved within each work package. Special attention was paid to legislative framework development in both countries, presented by the representatives and project member on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Furthermore, the consortium has been informed about the piloting of the Dual Higher Education Programmes. Moldovan partners have presented shortly the achievements of the 1st year piloting realised during the 2022-2023 academic year and prospects for the 2nd year of DHE programs piloting that they are currently undergoing. Partner Universities from Ukraine have shared the details and achievements of the DHE programs piloting with the consortium, paying an attention to several obstacles they have encountered during the initial phase.
