Study Visit to Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, 3-4 May 2022

On May 3-4, 2022, within Erasmus+ COOPERA project ′′Integration of dual higher education in Moldova and Ukraine” (reference number: 617490-EPP-1-2020-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP) has been organized and realized Study Visit to the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Germany. Partner Universities from Moldova and Ukraine, together with Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova have been actively involved in the study visit and followed agenda prepared by the hosts.

The study visit to the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University was dedicated to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of dual education system. The first day of the study visit was dedicated to dual studies from the perspective of IT management, presentation realised by prof. dr. Eckhart HANSER, followed by presentation of DHBW experience in the field of healthcare realised by prof. dr. Julia WEARING.

The afternoon session was dedicated to the presentation of dual higher education models developed by project partners from Moldova and Ukraine. The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova and Free International University of Moldova presented the Dual Education Models ready to be piloted starting with September 2022. Two partner universities from Ukraine, namely Uzhhorod National University and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University have presented the Dual Higher Education models selected, its objectives and advantages and main obstacles for the father development and piloting. The day has been summed up with the questions and answers session, during which delegations from Moldovan and Ukrainian universities received feedback and comments from the DHBW experts.

The members of the delegations also had the opportunity to visit several partner companies in the region where students participating in dual education work, and namely “Vita Classica Thermal Bad” recreation center and “Gesundheitsresort” healthcare center.
