Study Visit to WSB University, 25-29 October 2021

On October 25-29, 2021 within COOPERA project ′′Integration of dual higher education in Moldova and Ukraine” (Ref. Nr. 617490) has been organized and realized the first Study Visit to the WSB University, Poland. Working groups from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, Free International University of Moldova, Uzhhorod National University, KROK University, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Odessa National Economic University has participated at the study visit in order to transfer knowledge and experience on Dual Higher Education implemented by WSB University.

Taking into account vast experience of WSB university as a higher education institution with the focus on combination of education and work, the implementation of the dual form of education at WSB University is a logical step towards developing educational programs.

During the academic visit, participants got acquainted with the experience of implementing various dual education models, implementation procedures, academic quality assurance system, cooperation issues with business partners interested in engaging students in their companies. Special importance has been paid to University Student s’ Career Development Office. Presentation of the Dual Education in Logistics and IT program implemented by WSB University gave a possibility to the consortium to learn about obstacles and achievements of the study program and see dual education from the student’s perspective.

One of the points in the study visits’ agenda was visit to the Kraków Technology Park – Hub4 Industry, which is a is a complex support centre for industrial companies that want to introduce Industry 4.0 solutions in their production plants.
